Town of Renfrew Blue Box Update
New for 2007, the Town of Renfrew is implementing a two stream recycling collection system.  The two new curbside collection systems have been designed to eliminate restrictions that exist in the 2006 Blue Box Program.  This new service will commence in January (see recycling calendar for actual dates).  With these enhanced recycling options, it will now be easy and more efficient for all our current and any new blue box recyclers to recycle in Renfrew.

432-8166.                

All industrial, commercial and institutional recyclers will be restricted by volume to eight (8) blue boxes and two (2) clear plastic bags of fine paper per stop.                       

If your recyclables are not packaged as per the instructions above, your blue box will not be picked up by the recycling contractor.

Additional blue boxes are available for $5.00 at Development & Works office, 127 Raglan Street South, Renfrew, or at the Municipal Garage, 529 Lisgar Avenue.

The new 2007 Blue Box Recycling Program enables each one of us to maximize waste diversion.  Please familiarize yourself with all the options for recycling so that our recycling program is a success in Renfrew.
