Air Cadets
Every Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at their quarters located in the RCAFA Wing on Argyle Street, Renfrew.  You must be 12 years of age or older to join.  Cadets is free.  For information call 432-4863.
Bereavement Support Group
Meets the last Thursday of the month at St. John Chrysostom Parish, Arnprior in Room 2.  Contact Jean Anderchek at 623-2282.
Bridge
The Friends of the Renfrew Public Library hold casual bridge games on Tuesday Afternoons from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at The Recess Cafe in The Corporate Centre on Lochiel St. South.  Come with or without partners and the $2.00 charge is donated to the Renfrew Library.  There's no need to register, but for more information please call Karen Abbott at 433-5795.
Bryson Lions Club Old Time Dance
Every Saturday night, the Bryson Lions Club hosts an Old Time Dance at Bryson Lions Hall, Quebec from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. with a hot lunch served at midnight. Music by the Brysonnaires.  $6.00 per person. 
Card Social
Every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. The Renfrew Public Library Friends of the Library invite you to join them for regular afternoons of fun and fellowship through weekly card socials.  The afternoon bridge and/or euchre card parties will be held at the Recess Cafe at back of the Renfrew Corporate Centre, facing Bonnechere Street.  Admission to the card socials will be $2.  All money raised will be used to enhance programs and services the the Renfrew Public Library.  The organizers are also looking for experienced bridge and euchre players to teach and share their skill with others.  For more information call Blance Dalziel at 433-9631.
Community Choir Practice
Choir practice for the 2003/2004 season has resumed at St. Thomas Apostle School.  Sr Joan Pecore, director.
Eganville-Pembroke-Renfrew Fly Fishing Club
New club will meet twice a month from September through April.  Here's your opportunity to learn about: equipment, casting, flies and fly tying, rod building and where to fish for bass, pike and trout.  Beginners welcome.  For information call Murray at 613-628-3431 or Frank at 613-628-3526.
Eganville & District Sportsman's Club Trap Shoots

Euchre
Every Thursday,  4 hand Euchre card games -- Knights of Columbus, 315 Raglan St. S, Renfrew.  $3 per person.  Everybody welcome -- proceeds to charity.  Call 432-9303.

Fibromyalgia/Chronic Pain Support Group
2nd Tuesday of the month from 7 - 9 p.m.  Legion Board Room.  Call 432-1160 for information and to register.
Hearing Tests
Tests will be held every second Tuesday at Laurier Optical, Renfrew from 1 pm to 5 pm.  Phone 735-3846 for appointment.
Heritage Renfrew Archives Monthly Meetings
The first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., in the Heritage Room at the Renfrew Archives, Gibbons Road (off O'Brien Road).
Ladies Bible Study
Ladies bible study on discipleship, starting November 19, at the Hebron Christian Reform Church on Albert Street.  Form a new friendship, receive prayer or enjoy adult time while the children you bring with you are cared for in nursery for ages two or under. Story hour for children for 3 to 5 year-olds.
Living with Breast Cancer
Eganville and District 'Living with Breast Cancer' will meet at 7:00 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at 74B Maple St. (Eganville Library Building).  For more information call Helen 613-628-3236 or Marcia 613-625-1268.
Look Good, Feel Good
A program to help cancer patients deal with physical side effects of the disease has begun at Renfrew Victoria Hospital.  The "Look Good, Feel Good" program provides advice on wigs, skin care and make-up.  Sessions are held once a month, usually on the final Thursday, at RVH.  For more information on the program, call Connie Legg at 432-4851 ext. 217 or ask one of RVH's oncology nurses.
Pathfinders
Pathfinders - part of the Girl Guide movement for girls age 12 to 15 years.  Meetings held 7-9 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 27 Gould Street, Cobden.  Registration $55/girl.  For more information, please call 646-2849.

Meeting first Wednesday in the month.
Quilter's Guild of Renfrew & Area

Renfrew Al-Anon
Meets at 8:30 pm every Wednesday night at Trinity St. Andrew's Church.  Enter by Quarry Street Entrance.
Renfrew Art Guild
Monthly working meetings at the Corporate Centre on Lochiel Street from 7-10 pm.  Meetings will then be held on the first Tuesday of every month after that.  Bring your paints, sketch pad, or anything you are working on and join us.  Membership fee is nominal.  For more information, call Diana at 649-2014 or email at wakely@nrtco.net .
Renfrew's Barbershop Chorus

Renfrew Senior Citizens Club 51
We are a group of people 50+ years that comes together Tuesday evenings to play euchre and socialize.  We meet at the Renfrew Rec Centre Tuesday's from 7 - 10 p.m. to play cards.  New members always welcome.  Membership $5.00 yearly.  Info - call Shirley 432-3474.

Weekly Ministry
