Are you
looking for a place to get involved in recreational type programs, a
place to celebrate a special event or host a gathering of friends?
This Department provides a wide variety of seasonal programs,
activities and facilities to meet your every need.
The
staff of the Department are interested in you and your recreational
needs and try to offer activities throughout the year that will help
to meet these needs. If you are interested in seeing a new type
of program offered in the municipality, please contact the appropriate
staff and discuss your ideas.
As in
every small town, we are constantly in the need for instructors in all
kinds of activities. If you have an interesting skill or talent
and are willing to share and instruct others, we would be interested
in talking to you about the possibilities of instructing one of the
Department sponsored programs or activities.
Volunteers are also welcomed in the Department. Throughout the
year we provide a wide variety of programs and special events in which
volunteers are needed to make them a success. There are no
specific time limits so if you can only volunteer a few hours or are
available for longer periods of time and would like to help out please
contact one of the staff and we will get you involved.
